Michael A. Lashley is an attorney at law and King’s Counsel whose career reflects decades of legal excellence and public service. He is Head of the law firm Michael Lashley and Associates, based in Bridgetown, and has built a reputation as a formidable advocate across multiple jurisdictions.

He practises law in Barbados, the British Virgin Islands, and the Cayman Islands, and has been called to the Bar in Tortola, British Virgin Islands, and in St Lucia. Michael Lashley served as an elected Member of Parliament for St Philip North from 2003 to 2018. During his time in government, he held responsibility as Minister of Housing from 2008 to 2013, and as Minister of Transport and Works from 2013 to 2018, overseeing major public infrastructure and national development portfolios.

He continues to contribute to national life as Co Chairman of the Advisory Council on Crime, focusing on citizen safety, justice, and community stability.
